A 1979 classic movie with 1984 graphics. No surprise. However, the movie is quite impressive. The first twenty-five minutes almost seemed to drag on for me, but then it picked up the pace, and I realize why it has 10 sequels. This movie is full of 'wham', 'bam', and 'oh, snap, that's awesome!' And of course, it ends with a special effects spectacle. In the movie, the Enterprise crew battles against wormholes, aliens, and a feaky bald probe lady. In short, for a 30-year-old movie, this isn't half bad. Now, this is no Star Wars, but it's pretty darn close. Like 9.22 to 10 close. This is a movie to buy without haste, but at least rent it. I personally believe that this movie rocks. So, live long and prosper!
