I had really high hopes for this movie. They were about halfway filled. This family-friendly comedy-action starring Kevin James as mall security guard Paul Blart is not what it seems. It is funny, but not too funny, and the action can barely be called action. A pistol is fired a couple of times, with no one getting hit. (with one non-fatal exception) In other words, I would recommend this as a rent movie more than a buy movie. That's all I'm saying.
